Cancellations & Refunds

1. How to cancel your subscription
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time in one of the following ways:
- From the "My subscription" section inside the app, by clicking "Manage subscription".
- By emailing hola@duerme.now with the subject "Cancel subscription" from your registered email address.
2. Effect of cancellation
- Your subscription will remain active until the last day of the billing period already paid. No further charges will be made from the next renewal date.
- Once the active period ends, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan.
- Previously generated stories will remain in your library and continue to be accessible.
- If you have more than 1 active profile when downgrading to Free, additional profiles will be deactivated but not deleted. You can reactivate them by upgrading to Premium again.
3. Refund policy
We do not offer refunds for cancelled subscriptions, partially used billing periods, or changes of mind.
We recognize the following exceptions where we will process a refund:
- Billing error: an incorrect charge was made for an amount different from what was agreed.
- Duplicate charge: two charges were made for the same subscription period.
- Unexpected auto-renewal: a renewal charge occurred after you had already requested cancellation within the same billing period and you can demonstrate this.
In these cases, you must contact us within 14 calendar days of the charge. Requests received after that period cannot be processed.
4. How to report a billing error
Email hola@duerme.now with the subject "Billing error" and include:
- Your account email address.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- A description of the error.
We will review your case within 10 business days. Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method through Stripe and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear depending on your bank.
5. Account deletion
If you wish to permanently delete your account (not just cancel your subscription), email hola@duerme.now with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete or anonymize your personal data and associated child profiles within 90 calendar days. This action is irreversible.
