Cancellations & Refunds

Effective date: April 20, 2026

1. Canceling your subscription

You may cancel at any time:

  • In the app from My Subscription → Manage subscription
  • By emailing privacy@caraji.io with subject "Cancel subscription" from your registered email

2. What happens after cancellation

  • Your subscription stays active through the end of the billing period already paid — no further charges from the next renewal date.
  • Access reverts to the Free plan when the paid period ends.
  • Previously generated stories remain in your library.
  • Any unused credits at cancellation are forfeited and non-refundable.
  • If you have more than 1 active profile when downgrading to Free, additional profiles are deactivated (not deleted). Reactivate by upgrading again.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

First-time subscribers who are dissatisfied with the Service may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of their first paid charge. This guarantee applies once per customer and does not apply to renewals or credit pack purchases made after the initial subscription.

To claim: email privacy@caraji.io within 14 days of the charge with subject "Refund request" and include your account email and charge date.

4. Credit packs

Credit pack purchases are non-refundable except within the 14-day first-time window described above. Credits do not expire while your account is active.

5. Billing errors

If you believe a charge was made in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, or charge after a confirmed cancellation), contact us within 14 calendar days of the charge at privacy@caraji.io with subject "Billing error." Include your account email, the charge date and amount, and a brief description. We will review within 10 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 additional business days to appear.

6. Account deletion

To permanently delete your account, email privacy@caraji.io with subject "Delete my account." We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days. This is irreversible and forfeits any remaining credits or active subscription access.
